Plainville streets, schools and local landmarks
Plainville's two elementary schools sit side by side on Messenger Street: the Anna Ware Jackson School for pre-K through grade 2 and the Beatrice H. Wood School for grades 3 through 6. Older students go to King Philip Regional schools, the middle school in Norfolk and the high school in Wrentham. Classroom birthday lists and PTO events often span Plainville, Wrentham and Norfolk families, so plan the guest count with that in mind.
Ball families know the Field of Dreams at 80 School Street. Route 1 (Washington Street) is the town's commercial spine, home to Plainridge Park Casino, while the residential side streets have yards of every size. If your lot backs onto the conservation land around Turnpike Lake, which is also a public water supply, check the back edge of the yard for roots, rocks and low branches.
Town fields are managed by the Plainville Park Department, which uses a facility request form. Check with them about inflatables before you plan anything on a town field.
Fitting a bounce house into a Plainville yard
Plenty of Plainville lots are on the cozy side, so sizing matters. Here are real footprints from our catalog, smallest first:
Measure the open lawn, then look up: a 16 or 17 ft tall unit needs clear air above it, away from wires and branches. Grass is the best surface because the unit can be staked. Keep a clear path from the street to the backyard, since the crew carries the rolled-up unit in. Most blowers plug into a standard outdoor outlet; if yours is far from the setup spot, add a 1800W Generator for $100.
Good picks for Plainville parties
The Basic Bounce House, Monster Truck Madness and Paw Patrol Bounce House are $100 a day. The Petite White Bounce House is also $100 and works well for toddlers and photo-friendly parties. If you have room for a slide, the Train Combo Bounce House is $180, the Mickey Train Clubhouse Combo is $225 and the Elite Speed Car Combo is $250.
For little ones, the Toddler Forest Playground is $180. Prices are from our catalog as of October 2026; delivery fees may apply.
